About Us

We are a husband and wife team making soy-based candles from our house in Red Bank, Tennessee. We've searched for years for the perfectly scented candle and we finally found it at our local farmer's market. We were their #1 customer until Covid hit. Like many small businesses, they didn't prevail. After an endless search for a proper replacement we decided that we should make our own candles. This is why we say Before we were the makers, we were the customers and we truly mean it. 

Here's the secret about candles:

• They aren't essential but they are neccessary. One thing we noticed is that throughout the years, we had given occasions, holidays and even seasons a scent. (Blue-Lu) Lemon candles to welcome Spring or a warm Amber glow as the leaves change in Fall. Every Christmas feels like Christmas because of Pepperberry Mistletoe. We want our candles to be part of your traditions. Maybe the smell of Paradise on that annual beach trip or Apple Spice as the family comes into town for Thanksgiving. 
• If only you could test drive a candle. Have you ever bought a candle that you can't really smell after lighting it? This disappointment and waste of money is all too familiar to us. When you walk into the room, you want the scent to be noticable. That's our goal with these candles. Our scents will fill the room without being too overwhelming.
